Well one of my friends in Spain recently told me about this crazy thing that is going on in the big cities there. Apparently, fake designer bags, from popular labels like Louis Vuitton, Coach and Gucci, are readily available on the streets. I was totally shocked and couldn’t believe it.
My friend said that a lot of people are trying to make a living selling these bags, and they even have their own promoters on the streets, shouting things like ‘latest bags from Paris,’ or ‘authentic bags from Milan.’ But, of course, these bags are not authentic.
It seems like such a strange concept to me. I mean, why would somebody want to buy a fake designer bag? I can understand if you can’t afford the real thing, but buying fakes? It’s not even worth it. Not to mention, it’s illegal to sell fake items.
It’s almost like these people are so desperate to make money that they’re willing to risk everything to do so. I just don’t understand it. I mean, these fake bags are not cheap either. Prices can go up to hundreds of euros, which is a lot of money for something that is not even real.
It’s hard to believe that these fake goods can be found on the streets of such beautiful cities such as Madrid and Barcelona. I mean, it detracts from the actual designer goods as well. I don’t know if it’s worth it in the end for anyone involved.
When I think about it, it’s really kind of sad. People are getting taken advantage of and are risking getting caught by the law for something as silly as buying a fake bag. It’s really unfair.
Furthermore, it affects the actual fashion houses as well. I mean, how can the real luxury designers be able to make money if people are buying fake designer bags? It’s really not fair to them either.
What can be done to stop it? Well, people definitely have to be more aware and resist temptation if they come across these fake designer bags on the streets. Plus, there should be more enforcement from the police to stop these things from happening. Of course, that’s easier said than done, but something needs to be done.
It’s really a shame that this is happening, and it really makes me wonder if anything can be done to stop it. I hope that people will become more aware and refuse to buy these cheap knock offs. It would be great to help out the fashion houses and to make sure that people don’t get taken advantage of either.
How can people be better informed? Well, as a start, people should check out the company website to see what the actual designs look like and compare the prices to make sure they’re getting the real deal. It’s also important to know the company’s return policy in case something doesn’t look exactly how you thought it would.
It’s really a shame that fake designer replica bags are so popular in Spain. People should know that they’re losing out by buying these knock offs and should instead invest in the real thing if they can afford it. Plus, it’s really unfair for the designers who have to fight hard to protect their brand from cheap knock-offs.
